The Department of Hindi conducted Induction programme for the I sem students of 2022 admission from 23 to 26 August 2022. Dr. Sajeev K , Associate Professor and Head, Department of Hindi, NSS College, Ottapalam, Palakkad, Mrs Deepika K, Hindi Junior Translation Officer, Official Language section, Central University of Tamilnadu, Mr. Rajesh K. Senior Manager (OL), Union Bank of India, Regional Officer, East Hill Road, Calicut were the resource persons. They have delivered speech about the new avenues in Hindi Language and Literature, various job opportunities in state, National , Government and Private sectors of various fields. Also spoke about the scope of Hindi at national and International level. 45 students participated in the programme.

The Department has conducted a special lecture programme on "Mukti our Bakti Kavya" in connection with the celebration of Azadi Ka Amruth Mahotsav. Prof. Bajrang Bihari Tiwari, Professor, Deshbandhu College, Delhi University was the resource person. 40 students and faculty members actively participated in the programme.The programme was organised on 25.08.2022.

അമൃത മഹോത്സവം സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യസമര സെമിനാര്‍ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യത്തിന്റെ അമൃത മഹോത്സവത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി കാലിക്കറ്റ് യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി ഹിന്ദി വകുപ്പിന്റെ ആഭിമുഖ്യത്തിൽ "സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യബോധവും ഹിന്ദി സാഹിത്യവും " എന്ന വിഷയത്തിൽ2022 ആഗസ്റ്റ് 11ന് സെമിനാർ നടത്തി . കാലിക്കറ്റ് യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി ഗാന്ധി ചെയർ വിസിറ്റിംഗ് പ്രൊഫസറും ഹിന്ദി വകുപ്പ് മേധാവിയുമായിരുന്ന പ്രൊഫ. ആർസു മുഖ്യപ്രഭാഷണം നടത്തി.ദേശീയ കാവ്യധാരയിലുള്ള കവികൾ മഷി കൊണ്ടല്ല ഹൃദയ രക്തം കൊണ്ടാണ് കവിതകൾ എഴുതിയതെന്നും, ദേശീയ നേതാക്കന്മാർക്ക് മുൻപേ തന്നെ എഴുത്തുകാരിലൂടെയാണ് സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യ സമരത്തിന്റെയും ദേശസ്നേഹത്തിന്റെയും ആശയം ജന മനസ്സുകളിൽ എത്തിച്ചേർന്നതെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം അഭിപ്രായപ്പെട്ടു. ഇന്ത്യൻ ദേശീയതയും സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യ ബോധവും ഭാരതീയ ജനതയിൽ വാർത്തെടുക്കുന്നതിൽ ഹിന്ദി ഭാഷയും സാഹിത്യവും വഹിച്ച പങ്ക് നിസ്തുലമാണെന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തു .പ്രൊഫ.ആർസുവിന്റെ 80 മലയാള കവിതകളുടെ ഹിന്ദി വിവർത്തന സമാഹാരമായ "മലയാളം കവിതാ കാ സ്ത്രീ പർവ്വ്" ഹിന്ദി വകുപ്പിന് കൈമാറി.ഹിന്ദിവകുപ്പ് മേധാവി പ്രൊഫ. പ്രമോദ് കൊവ്വപ്രത്ത് അധ്യക്ഷത വഹിച്ചു .ഡോ. ഷിബി സി, ഡോ. മഹേഷ് എസ്, ഡോ. ഫാത്തിമ ജീം ,. പ്രഭാകരൻ ഹെബ്ബാർ ഇല്ലത്ത്, ശ്വേതാ എന്നിവർ പ്രസംഗിച്ചു. ചർച്ചയിൽ അധ്യാപകർ , ഗവേഷകർ, വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾ സജീവമായി പങ്കെടുത്തു. ഹിന്ദി വകുപ്പ് മേധാവി |
